Common questions
How does pricing work?
Every appointment is one base service — a Gel-X or polygel set, an overlay, a fill, or a basic manicure — plus an optional nail art tier, plus any extras like removal. Art is an add-on, not a separate appointment. The base covers the set itself in one solid color; the art tier is where the design comes in. See the full menu on the services page or use the estimator to price a combination.
Which art tier do I need?
Tier 1 covers multicolor French tips, ombré, simple art, one 3D gel design, and light gems and charms. Tier 2 is a Tier 1 base with more layered art — different designs per finger, multiple charms and bling. Tier 3 is the extravagant work: complex character art, 3D and sculpted additions, full bling, junk nails. If you're not sure, send a reference photo by Instagram DM before booking.
Can I bring a reference photo?
Yes — that's the Inspired Set. Send the photo via Instagram DM before your appointment. The listed price is the base; more art increases it.
I already have product on my nails. Do I need to book removal?
Yes. Add Soak Off / Removal to your booking if you have existing product on. Removal time varies by product type, so allow for it on top of your service.
When can I book a fill instead of a new set?
A Polygel Fill-In is for a polygel set Leah did, within two weeks of your last appointment. Beyond two weeks it's a rebalance, priced as a full set. Fills on sets from another tech are negotiable — ask first.
What if a nail pops off?
If it happens within a week of the original service, the repair is free. After that, book a Nail Repair. TODO(leah): confirm the per-nail price — services.ts lists one figure and the description another.
